This Truck Saves You Money!
Everywhere we go we receive comments about our service trucks. Remarks such as, "Wow! That's a cool truck!" and "You guys look like you are ready to handle just about anything!" are common. However, due to the size of the truck and the fact that they are not "standard" in the local market, we sometimes have questions as to whether the truck is actually going to cost our clients more money.
 The answer is just the opposite.
This truck will SAVE you money! Here's how:
The cost of the trucks is actually no more than the cost of a standard utility truck.
The Isuzu NPR chassis with it's "cab over" (the engine) design allows us to use an 11 foot utility bed as opposed to the standard 8 foot utility bed. This bed also has extra pipe and pipe fitting bins on top of it. This allows us to carry more with us, which, in most cases keeps us from having to leave you home in search of parts.
The Isuzu NPR that we use is a turbo diesel. This means better fuel mileage, which translates into lower costs to you.
The turning radius for the Isuzu NPR is 7 feet tighter than a Mustang Cobra. This means the trucks, despite their size, are easier to drive and can be negotiated into tighter driveways and such, getting us closer to the work and allowing us to get the job done quicker.
Finally, these trucks are actually safer on the road. The "cab over" chassis offers improved visability and the 11 foot bed allows all ladders and pipes to be stored internally, as opposed to on top of a ladder rack. This means there is less likely-hood of something falling off of the truck while driving down the road.
So, the next time you see one of our service trucks heading down the road, say to yourself... "Wow! That's a cool truck!... and... it will save me money!" |
