Spring Cleaning Tips for Your Bathroom

Kyle-EOM

When you hear the word “spring,” what’s the first thing that comes to mind? For most, it might be a variety of bright colored flowers and warmer weather — but what else comes to mind? Spring cleaning. If you’re looking for the best ways to clean your bathroom this spring, then here are some simple tips to follow:

Wash Your Towels

Of course, washing your towels might be a staple of your weekly routine — but what about washing all of your towels? Believe it or not, sometimes towels can grow quite dingy when stored in your bathroom, due to the change in humidity (hello, hot showers). When a towel become a bit damp and then stored in a dark area, then it can have the possibility of acquiring a bad smell. When washing your towels, just keep it simple and do the standard procedure!

Mop the Floor

One of the best ways to accomplish some bathroom spring cleaning is to mop the floor in your bathroom. Unlike the standard mop and bucket, you can pick up a microfiber cloth-based mop from your local hardware or grocery store. As simple turning on a light switch in your bathroom, mopping will be a breeze with this gadget — since you’ll just have to run it over the floor up and down. You’ll be pleasantly surprised at how clean this will make your floor and ultimately how your bathroom will sparkle, too!

Clean Your Shower Curtain

Believe it or not, one of the most neglected parts of a bathroom is the shower curtain. Unlike a glass shower door, a curtain cannot be squeegeed to cleanliness. In fact, the best way to clean this essential curtain it to put it in the washing machine. As simple as washing your favorite shirt, take the curtain down from the curtain rod and place the “shower treatment” inside of the washing machine. Once that’s complete, place the curtain in the dryer, and once complete, hang it back up! Having a clean shower curtain will make a great difference in terms of appearance!
