The reason is simple: this is the perfect way to heat your house on a budget since the rays from the sun will get trapped within (just like a greenhouse), creating some warmth! Of course, you’ll have to complete this routine on a daily basis (when applicable) to reap the benefits of this free heat!

Clear the Vents

In your home, do you happen to have either a sofa or end table blocking a heating vent? If that’s the case, then you’re obstructing the pathway for the heat to get to you! To correct this, it’s best to move the furniture around to get the most out of your HVAC unit.
