Community Outreach

At Pipe Wrench Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, Inc., we are committed to improving the lives of our customers, as well as supporting our community. From donating to local nonprofits, to helping those in times of need, giving back is a big part of who we are.

We’ve worked with numerous local community groups and organizations over the last 15 years. Whether it’s providing equipment for a local animal shelter or donating our time and expertise to local schools, we’re proud to support these noble organizations that are making our community a better place in which to live, work and play.

    “Second Harvest truly appreciates Pipe Wrench Plumbing, Heating & Cooling’s gift of providing healthy, easily-prepared food to the most vulnerable children at our schools who might not have regular meals. Providing this food to children who have a need has been shown to have a positive impact on their help self-esteem, behavior, concentration, and grades.     Pipe Wrench sponsors pet adoption pricing specials and fund raising events for Young-Williams Animal Center in support of their mission to find new homes for adoptable animals that fit with a pet owner's lifestyle, living situation and breed experience.

  • Joy of Music School for Children The Joy of Music School

    Music provides innumerable benefits to children, from building their self-confidence to improving social skills. The Joy of Music School for Children provides low-cost music lessons to at-risk children in the Knoxville area. It’s been our pleasure over the years to donate plumbing services to keep the school running.

  • We Back the Blue Fraternal Order of Police

  • Wake the World Wake the World Norris Lake

    Wake the World is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that began in 2008 with 8 families providing a day on the lake for residents of a local children’s home. Now, WTW is a group of boat owners providing water sports opportunities all over the world to abandoned, abused, and neglected children, as well as for the handicapped and our Wounded Warriors. This organization has grown to become the largest all volunteer organization of its kind, with over 500 volunteered boats worldwide! Pipe Wrench CEO Tom Cambron has partnered with “Wake the World Norris Lake, TN”, launched by a couple of Norris area families, to bring kids from local children’s homes to Norris Lake, and provide an incredible “day on the lake” experience. Every dollar raised is spent on covering expenses for the events, as WTW Norris TN creates lasting memories for these incredible kids.

  • Mission Funding to Africa

    At Pipe Wrench Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, Inc., we also look outside of our community to find ways to give back, and that’s how we became a part of a caring group that funds mission work focused on improving the lives of the good people of Africa. This team of missionary volunteers works with third world economies to eradicate hunger, disease and improve educational opportunities.

  • ChildFund International Ministry

    The ChildFund International Ministry (formerly known as the Christian Children’s Fund) has a long history of providing food and shelter to children. For nearly three decades, we’ve supported this organization in the drive to help eradicate child poverty.

  • Kickin' Cancer Kickin Cancer

    Install Coordinator Bruce Russell and Boring Operator Evan Hartley participate in the Kickin' Cancer soccer tournament which raised over $10,000 in funds to help individuals in their battles against cancer. Pipe Wrench also donated $500 for the cause.

  • Little Ponderosa Zoo

    The Little Ponderosa Zoo is a Tennessee operation hero that rescues animals across the country, and provides a safe and caring home for abandoned exotic pets that need a new forever home. We provided refrigeration equipment to help preserve food for their animal rescues.

  • Oak Ridge High School

    Education is a huge focus for Pipe Wrench Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, Inc. We have proudly worked with Oak Ridge High School, where more than 80% of their students pursue higher education after graduation. We sponsored a larger-than-life outdoor chess set, and also donated our services to install a water line to the school’s football field.
